New date announced for Midlands Engine’s Quarterly Economic Briefing on Green Growth

On 12 October, 10-12:00am, the Midlands Engine Partnership will hold their rescheduled Quarterly Economic Briefing (QEB), with a focus on regional green growth initiatives.

The QEB, originally scheduled for 16 September, was rescheduled following the tragic news of Her Majesty the Queen’s passing earlier this month.

Confirmed speakers and panellists now include:

  • Ingrid Holmes, Executive Director at Green Finance Institute
  • Anna Cartwright, Deputy Director of Local Authority Lending for the UK Infrastructure Bank
  • Richard Blackmore, Confederation of British Industry
  • More tbc

Attendees, along with Midlands Engine partners and regional industry representatives will use the briefing as an opportunity to discuss environmental investment in the Midlands, blended public-private finance and increasing the availability of green finance for infrastructure.
