For over 40 years, The Prince’s Trust has supported young people to get into work and training or start their own business. Since the start of the pandemic, the organisation has adapted the way it works and continued to help young people across the East Midlands.

Michele Farmer, Director for Central England explains:

Many jobs undertaken by young people are amongst the most vulnerable, such as those in hospitality. We have moved all our training and support online, so we can continue to help young people to get into work, train for a new career, set up a new business or adapt their current business so they can continue to trade. It’s key that we work with local and national government, the business community and other charities to support young people throughout this difficult time.

If you can support The Prince’s Trust by volunteering, being a mentor, sharing job vacancies or making a donation, please contact michele.farmer@princes-trust.org.uk or visit https://www.princes-trust.org.uk
