In recent weeks we met with Kate Griffiths, MP for Burton, and Claudia Webbe, MP for Leicester East. Further important virtual meetings are planned over the next month.

We also communicate regularly and directly with our region’s MPs, providing them with important sources of data and information about Midlands activity, such as the Independent Economic Review, Covid Monitors and our Partnership newsletter. Already in 2020, along with our partners at Midlands Connect, we have arranged meetings with more than 40% of the MPs newly elected in December in order to inform them of our Partnership priorities.

As soon as the House of Commons returns to operating normally, we look forward to bringing you further exciting news regarding the Midlands Engine in Parliament – watch this space!
