In September, the Midlands Engine team were pleased to attend the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool, championing our wonderful region and our work in partnership.

Discussions ranged from regional growth with Shadow Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Lisa Nandy MP, and plans for a Midlands rail hub with Shadow Transport Secretary, Louise Haigh MP, to the exceptional opportunities set out in the Midlands Investment Portfolio with Shadow International Trade Secretary, Nick Thomas-Symonds MP.
