Marches Transport Summit to be held in February

Transport leaders and planners in the Marches will be meeting to discuss plans for improving access to and from Wales. The Marches Transport Summit, organised by Midlands Connect, will see discussions of rail plans and innovative transport with time for questions from the audience.

At the event a group of senior business leaders and politicians will be attending and speaking, including keynote speaker Sir Peter Hendy, author of the Union Connectivity Review, plus: Craig Williams MP (Private Secretary to the Prime Minister), Daniel Kawczynski MP, Helen Morgan MP, Rachel Laver (CEO, Marches LEP), Ian Price (Wales Director, CBI), Cllr James Gibson-Watt (Leader, Powys County Council) and Will McWilliams (Global Head of Public Sector, Grant Thornton).

At the event, Midlands Connect will be releasing a document about their proposals in the region.
