“The continued spread of coronavirus has led the organisers of MIPIM 2020 to cancel this year’s event in Cannes, which had previously been postponed to June. This comes as no surprise following recent developments.”

Sir John continues:

Whilst it is disappointing that we are unable to attend MIPIM 2020 in Cannes, we fully support the organisers’ decision to cancel the event in the current circumstances.

I would like to thank all our partners across the Midlands for their efforts, patience and continued support during the period of uncertainty around the event over the last few weeks. Our efforts will now turn to securing the best outcome for our partners, and developing our future plans together to ensure the outstanding investment opportunities across the Midlands Engine can be showcased to the world.
